Trend Micro is aware of a compatibility issue between the User Mode Hooking (UMH) component of several Trend Micro endpoint solutions and the latest Microsoft Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022 optional preview patches (KB5014019) released on May 24, 2022.<\/p>\n

\u30c8\u30ec\u30f3\u30c9\u30de\u30a4\u30af\u30ed\u3067\u306f\u3001\u8907\u6570\u306e\u30c8\u30ec\u30f3\u30c9\u30de\u30a4\u30af\u30ed\u30a8\u30f3\u30c9\u30dd\u30a4\u30f3\u30c8\u30bd\u30ea\u30e5\u30fc\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u306eUMH\uff08User Mode Hooking\u30b3\u30f3\u30dd\u30fc\u30cd\u30f3\u30c8\u3068\u30012022\u5e745\u670824\u65e5\u306b\u30ea\u30ea\u30fc\u30b9\u3055\u308c\u305f\u6700\u65b0\u306eMicrosoft Windows 11\u304a\u3088\u3073Windows Server 2022\u7528\u306e\u30aa\u30d7\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u30d7\u30ec\u30d3\u30e5\u30fc\u30d1\u30c3\u30c1(KB5014019)\u3068\u306e\u9593\u306b\u4e92\u63db\u6027\u306e\u554f\u984c\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u8a8d\u8b58\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n

The UMH component used by several Trend Micro endpoint and server protection products is responsible for some advanced features such as ransomware protection. Trend Micro is aware of an potential issue where customers who apply the optional Microsoft Windows 11 or Windows 2022 optional preview patches (KB5014019) and reboot would then find that the Trend Micro UMH driver would stop.<\/p>\n

\u30c8\u30ec\u30f3\u30c9\u30de\u30a4\u30af\u30ed\u306e\u8907\u6570\u306e\u30a8\u30f3\u30c9\u30dd\u30a4\u30f3\u30c8\u304a\u3088\u3073\u30b5\u30fc\u30d0\u4fdd\u8b77\u88fd\u54c1\u3067\u4f7f\u7528\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308bUMH\u30b3\u30f3\u30dd\u30fc\u30cd\u30f3\u30c8\u306f\u3001\u30e9\u30f3\u30b5\u30e0\u30a6\u30a7\u30a2\u4fdd\u8b77\u306a\u3069\u4e00\u90e8\u306e\u9ad8\u5ea6\u306a\u6a5f\u80fd\u3092\u62c5\u3063\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002\u30c8\u30ec\u30f3\u30c9\u30de\u30a4\u30af\u30ed\u306f\u3001Microsoft Windows 11\u307e\u305f\u306fWindows 2022\u7528\u306e\u30aa\u30d7\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u306e\u30d7\u30ec\u30d3\u30e5\u30fc\u30d1\u30c3\u30c1(KB5014019)\u3092\u9069\u7528\u3057\u3066\u518d\u8d77\u52d5\u3059\u308b\u3068\u3001\u30c8\u30ec\u30f3\u30c9\u30de\u30a4\u30af\u30ed\u306eUMH\u30c9\u30e9\u30a4\u30d0\u304c\u505c\u6b62\u3059\u308b\u53ef\u80fd\u6027\u304c\u3042\u308b\u554f\u984c\u3092\u8a8d\u8b58\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n

Trend Micro is currently investigating this issue further in order to address it before the optional Windows patch becomes mandatory.<\/p>\n

Customers who have already applied the optional Windows patch may either uninstall the patch temporarily or contact Trend Micro support for further assistance with a UMH debug module.<\/p>\n
