概要
HitmanProは、Sophosが提供する高度なマルウェア検出・除去ツールです。もともとはSurfRight社によって開発されたスキャナーで、その後SophosがSurfRightを買収したことによりSophosブランドで提供されるようになりました。
既存のセキュリティソフトと競合することなくセカンドオピニオンとして利用できる点が特徴で、インストール不要でそのまま実行できるポータブル設計を採用しています。複数のアンチマルウェアエンジンを組み合わせてスキャンを行い、既存のセキュリティ対策ソフトでは検知できないマルウェアを発見・除去します。
