16 Jul 2023 GrandPerspective 3.4.1 has been released and is available for download from Sourceforge.
It contains minor improvements and fixes related to the recently added display focus functionality.
It improves default settings for various preferences and changes sorting for palettes in the Display panel; they are now sorted by palette size.
It also includes translation updates for nearly all localizations.
10 Jul 2023 GrandPerspective 3.4 has been released and is available for download from Sourceforge.
It revamps the toolbar; the icons introduced in 2008 have been replaced by more modern system symbols.
It also extends the main menu so that all toolbar functionality is also available from there.
It also includes updated translations for Greek, Italian and Turkish.
2 Jul 2023 GrandPerspective 3.3 has been released and is available for download from Sourceforge.
It adds one new feature: the ability to change the display focus.
It also fixes some problems with view refresh and a few cosmetic issues in the user interface.
18 Jun 2023 GrandPerspective 3.2 has been released and is available for download from Sourceforge.
The scanning logic has been completely revamped and is significantly faster.
The speed up depends on the volume type and its contents, but can be twice as fast.
Thanks to Max Mueggler for suggesting these changes.

It includes updates for the majority of supported localizations: German, Finnish, French, Italian, Spanish, and Turkish.
It also includes fixes for two bugs: one could cause a crash, the other was a layout issue in the UI.

12 Mar 2023 GrandPerspective 3.1.0 has been released and is available for download from Sourceforge.
It improves support for cloud storage:
a "no cloud files" filter is added, it is possible to apply this filter (or other filters) by default, and there's now help on how to scan cloud storage.
Code has also been updated; the recommended deployment target is now macOS 10.14.6.
Finally, the app is again available in Spanish, thanks to Jorge Ruiz Calpe.

10 Jul 2022 GrandPerspective 3.0.0 has been released and is available for download from Sourceforge.
Most notably, it includes the ability to quickly refresh a view.
This functionality is very similar to re-scan but is much faster;
refresh only re-scans the contents of folder that have changed since the previous scan.
Implementing this functionality triggered significant changes to the implementation, which is the reason for bumping the major version.

21 Nov 2020 GrandPerspective 2.5.4 has been released and is available for download from Sourceforge.
It features only one change but a notable one.
After fifteen years, there's a new icon; it complies with the new Big Sur guidelines.
I hope you like it.
For those that liked the old icon, fear not, it's still used as a logo at various places.
