🧩 Presets & Plugins Browser (new)
"Review & Import…" / "Review & Install…" download and verify the item, then show the usual import dialog. Nothing changes until you confirm.
Swift plugins install with one click: after you confirm, BetterTouchTool compiles and loads them for you. If a plugin update fails, the previous version keeps working.
"Share or Contribute…" explains how to share your own creations on the forum or on GitHub.
Share links: copy a link to any preset or plugin. Opening the link shows the item in BetterTouchTool, and nothing is installed until you confirm. Approved forum posts have an "Open in BetterTouchTool" button.
📋 Clipboard Manager
Edit images right in the preview: select an image to draw, add arrows, shapes and text, crop it or recognize text, without opening another window. "Save Copy" adds the edited image as a new item and leaves the original unchanged.
Quick paste with ⌘1–⌘9: hold ⌘ to see numbers on the first nine items, then press ⌘ + number to paste that item.
Paste several items in the order you clicked them. A small numbered badge on each selected row shows its position.
Stitch Images: select two or more screenshots of a page you scrolled through and choose "Stitch Images" to join them into one tall image.
Quick filters in the Clipboard Manager too: All, Favorites, Images, Files and Text sit below the search field, next to a menu with your groups and saved searches. "Add Selection to Group" adds all selected clips to a group at once.
Smoother scrolling and much lower memory use, especially with many images. The settings are now split into General, History and Appearance tabs.
🔗 Automatic link cleaning (new)
Optionally, short links such as bit.ly and t.co can be expanded to their real destination.
A new "URL Cleaning" settings window lets you test a link, browse the built-in rules and add your own.
New action "Clean URLs (Remove Tracking Parameters)" cleans the links on the clipboard or in the selected text.
If BetterTouchTool is your default browser ("Did Open URL"), the new option "Remove Tracking Parameters From Opened Links" cleans links before they open. Also fixed: links from the built-in list of link shorteners were never expanded.
