KeePassXC開発プロジェクトのJanek Bevendorff氏は28日、パスワード管理アプリ「KeePassXC」の最新版v2.3.0をリリースしたことを発表しました。最高のセキュリティで保護された、クロスプラットフォームのパスワード管理ツールを提供するというプロジェクトのゴールに至る、大きなマイルストーンとして、多数の新機能や不具合の修正が行われたバージョンだと説明されています。
v2.3.0では、新しいデータベースフォーマットKDBX 4.0への対応や、鍵導出関数Argon2への対応によりセキュリティ面のさらなる強化が行われています。SSHエージェント機能の追加や、新しい入力画面のプレビューパネル、KeePassHTTPKeePassXC-Browserと呼ばれる新しいブラウザプラグインの追加などによる機能面での強化も図られています。
