Appleは本日、iOS 17.3、iPadOS 17.3、tvOS 17.3、watchOS 10.3、macOS 14.3の各RCを開発者に対して公開しました(MacRumors)。
Apple Developer Programに加入している開発者は、「設定 > 一般 > ソフトウェアアップデート > ベータアップデート」からベータ版をインストールすることができます。

iOS 17.3では「盗難デバイス保護」機能が追加されています。iPhoneが盗難に遭い、パスコードも入手された場合に備えて、セキュリティのレイヤーを追加する機能で、この機能をオンにすると、iCloud Keychainのパスワードの表示、ロストモードの解除、iPhoneのコンテンツの消去、Safariで保存した支払い方法の使用などにFace IDまたはTouch ID認証が必要になります。
Face IDまたはTouch IDが失敗した場合のパスコード入力オプションは提供されません。Apple IDのパスワードの変更、デバイスのパスコードの更新、「探す」のオフ、Face IDの削除など、特定の操作には認証が必要となり、さらに1時間のセキュリティ遅延が発生するようになります。
またApple Music加入者が友人や家族など、音楽の好みが同じ人とプレイリストを作成できる機能「Apple Music共同プレイリスト」も追加される予定です。人の形をしたアイコンをタップし、リンクを共有することで、どのプレイリストも共同プレイリストにすることができます。
