Apple製品のアナリストMing-Chi Kuo氏は、2026年に発売予定の「iPhone 18」シリーズにTSMC製の2nmチップが搭載される可能性があると報告しています(AppleInsider)。

iPhone 18の前モデルに2nmプロセッサが搭載され、従来よりも性能が10〜15％向上し、エネルギー消費が削減される可能性があるとのこと。これによりバッテリーの持続時間が延びる可能性があります。一方、iPhone 17には改良版の3nmチップ(A19)が搭載される予定だとされています。
Appleは今年、iPhone 17シリーズで背面カメラのデザインを刷新し、Plusを廃止して薄型の「iPhone 17 Air(Slim?)」を導入すると見込まれています。この新モデルは、iPhone 17通常版と同じチップを使用する可能性が高く、A19チップを搭載すると予想されています。
