Broadcomは本日、Windows用の仮想化ソフトウェア「VMware Workstation 17.6.3」をリリースしました。
新バージョンでは、仮想マシン起動時にVMware Workstation Proがクラッシュする問題や、カーネルバージョンが5.14.0-432以上のCentos 9 Streamがインストールできない問題の修正、Windows 11上で仮想マシンを動作させている際に、ホストがロックされたりロック解除されたりすると、仮想マシンが応答しなくなることがある問題の修正が行われています。
また、 VMware ESXiおよびWorkstationに影響するセキュリティ脆弱性、CVE-2025-22224(TOCTOU競合状態の脆弱性)およびCVE-2025-22225(VMware ESXiの任意書き込みの脆弱性)が修正されています。
