Microsoftは本日、毎月米国時間の第2火曜日に提供している月例更新の一貫として、Windows 10の各バージョンに対する累積アップデートをそれぞれ公開しました(Neowin)。

今回公開された累積アップデートは以下の通りです。

Windows 10 Version 1903: KB4515384
Windows 10 Version 1809: KB4512578
Windows 10 version 1803: KB4516058
Windows 10 version 1709: KB4516066
Windows 10 version 1703: KB4516068
Windows 10 version 1607: KB4516044
Windows 10 Version 1507: KB4516070

バージョンごとのサポート期間はWindowsライフサイクルのファクトシートに掲載されており、現在、一般ユーザー向けの累積的更新プログラムの提供はVersion 1803までとなっています。

更新プログラムはシステムの品質を改善するもので、新たな機能は追加されていません。

それぞれWindows UpdateまたはMicrosoft Update Catalogを利用して導入することが可能で、変更点は以下の通りです(セキュリティアップデートの内容は日本Microsoftのブログで参照できます)。

KB4515384 (OS Build 18362.356)

Version 1903用の累積アップデートKB4516070では、Internet ExplorerやMicrosoft Officeのセキュリティ更新、ユーザー名とパスワードの検証に関する更新、ファイルの保存および管理に関する更新が行われています。またSearchUI.exeが原因でCPU負荷が高くなる問題も修正されています。

改良と修正:

Addresses an issue that may cause the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS) to stop working with an “0xc0000005” error.

Addresses an issue that causes Microsoft Lync or Skype for Business to stop working unexpectedly when receiving calls or starting meetings.

Security updates to the Microsoft Scripting Engine, Internet Explorer, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Graphics, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Media, Windows Fundamentals, Windows Authentication, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Storage and Filesystems, the Microsoft JET Database Engine, Windows Kernel, Windows Virtualization, and Windows Server.

更新プログラムには以下の1件の既知の不具合が存在します。

特定の操作をクラスター共有ボリューム上のファイルやフォルダーに対して実行すると「STATUS_BAD_IMPERSONATION_LEVEL (0xC00000A5)」が発生する

Version 1809用の累積アップデートKB4512578では、Internet ExplorerやMicrosoft Officeのセキュリティ更新、ユーザー名とパスワードの検証に関する更新が行われています。

改良と修正:

Provides protections against a new subclass of speculative execution side-channel vulnerabilities, known as Microarchitectural Data Sampling, for 32-Bit (x86) versions of Windows (CVE-2019-11091, CVE-2018-12126, CVE-2018-12127, CVE-2018-12130). Use the registry settings as described in the Windows Client and Windows Server articles. (These registry settings are enabled by default for Windows Client OS editions and Windows Server OS editions.)

Security updates to Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Fundamentals, Windows Authentication, Windows Cryptography, the Microsoft JET Database Engine, Windows Kernel, Windows Virtualization, and Windows Server.

更新プログラムには既知の不具合が4件存在します。

特定の操作をクラスター共有ボリューム上のファイルやフォルダーに対して実行すると「STATUS_BAD_IMPERSONATION_LEVEL (0xC00000A5)」が発生する
特定のアジアの言語パックがインストールされているデバイスで「0x800f0982 - PSFX_E_MATCHING_COMPONENT _NOT_FOUND」というエラーが表示されることがある
更新インストール後の最初のログオン画面でブラックスクリーンが表示される場合がある
NetQueryDisplayInformation API(または同等のWinNT provider)を呼び出すアプリケーションとスクリプトがデータの最初のページの後に結果を返さない場合がある
