Microsoftは7月21日(現地時間)、Windows 10 Version 1903/1909用の累積アップデートKB4559003とVersion 1809用の累積アップデートKB4559003を公開しました(Neowin)。

オプション扱いの非セキュリティ更新プログラムで、多数の不具合が修正されています。

Microsoftは今年の3月からCOVID-19の感染拡大をうけ、Windows 10のオプションオプションアップデートの提供を一時的に停止していました。しかし7月からは通常通りの提供を再開することを発表しています。

更新プログラムはシステムの品質を改善するもので新たな機能は追加されていません。Windows Updateの「更新プログラムのチェック」あるいは、Microsoft Update Catalogからファイルをダウンロードすることで、手動でインストールすることができます。

Version 1903/1909用の更新プログラムKB4559004では、特定のシナリオで拡大鏡がMicrosoft Excel上で機能しなくなる問題の修正や、検索ボックスから以前の用語を削除できるようにするファイルエクスプローラーの更新、RAWイメージやその他のファイルタイプのディレクトリを参照すると、ファイルエクスプローラーが機能しなくなる問題の修正などが行われています。
