Microsoftは2日、Windows 10の最新プレビュービルド「Windows 10 Insider Preview build 16299.15」を公開しました(Windows Blog、MSPoweruser)。
Windows Insider Programに参加し、更新設定を”Fast”に設定しているユーザーは、既存のWindows 10環境からWindows Updateを利用して最新ビルドに更新することができます(PC版の場合「設定 > 更新とセキュリティ > Windows Update」より更新できます)。
今回の更新は、先日Fastリングユーザー向けに公開された「build 16299」に対する累積アップデートの形式で公開されています。
We have released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 16299.15 to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring. As we prepare to release the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update to the world on October 17th, we will now start testing out servicing this build with the Cumulative Updates via Windows Update.
なおWindows Centralによると、Microsoftは「build 16299.15」をRTM((Release To Manufacturing)とみなしたとのこと。
RTM版はOEM先に提供される最終ビルドとされていて、10月17日に公開される「Windows 10 Fall Creators Update」は「build 16299.15」がベースになることになります。
ただし正式公開まで数週間時間が残されているため、インサイダー向けのパッチや、公開後にリリースされるWindows 10 Fall Creators Update向けの累積アップデートの準備が進められることになりそうです。
