Microsoftは本日、月例更新の一環として、Windows 10 19H1(Windows 10 Version 1903)に対する累積アップデートKB4497936を公開しました(MSPoweruser)。

Windows 10 19H1はまだ一般公開されたおらず、今回の更新プログラムは、Windows Insider Programに参加しているFast/Slow/Release Previewリングユーザー向けのものとなっています。なお更新プログラムをインストールするには、Build 18356.30以降を実行している事が必要です。

更新プログラムでは、64bit Windowsの各バージョンに対する、Microarchitectural Data Samplingと呼ばれる投機的実行サイドチャネル脆弱性に対する保護の提供や、ローミングプロファイルを使用している場合、またはMicrosoft互換性リストを使用していない場合、Internet Explorerのパフォーマンスが低下するという問題の修正、MS UIゴシックまたはMS Pゴシックを使用しているときに、テキスト、レイアウト、セルサイズがMicrosoft Excelで予想される幅より狭くなったり広くなったりすることがあるという問題の修正が行われています。

Provides protections against a new subclass of speculative execution side-channel vulnerabilities, known as Microarchitectural Data Sampling, for 64-Bit (x64) versions of Windows (CVE-2019-11091, CVE-2018-12126, CVE-2018-12127, CVE-2018-12130). Use the registry settings as described in the Windows Client and Windows Server articles. (These registry settings are enabled by default for Windows Client OS editions and Windows Server OS editions).

Addresses an issue that decreases Internet Explorer’s performance when you use roaming profiles or you don't use the Microsoft Compatibility List.

Addresses an issue that may cause the text, layout, or cell size to become narrower or wider than expected in Microsoft Excel when using the MS UI Gothic or MS PGothic fonts.
