Windows 10 Version 20H2/21H1/21H2用のプレビューアップデートKB5016688が公開 - 重要な不具合を修正

Microsoftは8月26日、Windows 10 Version 20H2/21H1/21H2用のプレビューアップデートKB5016688をリリースしました。

オプション扱いの更新プログラム(プレビュー版)で、多数の不具合が修正されています。

Windows Updateの「更新プログラムのチェック」を利用するか、Microsoft Update Catalogからファイルをダウンロードすることで、手動でインストールすることができます。

Windows 10 Version 20H2/21H1/21H2用の更新プログラムKB5016688では、ライセンスの問題で一部のゲームのインストールに失敗する可能性がある問題の修正や、検索アプリのリストのアイコンカラーに影響する問題への対応、デバイスのシャットダウンや再起動時にエラー0x1Eが発生する可能性がある問題の修正、IEモードを使用しているときにMicrosoft Edgeが応答しなくなる既知の問題への対処などが行われています。

The exception code is 0xc0000409 (STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN).

• Addresses an issue that affects a lookup for a nonexistent security ID (SID) from the local domain using read-only domain controller (RODC). The lookup unexpectedly returns the STATUS_TRUSTED_DOMAIN_FAILURE error instead of STATUS_NONE_MAPPED or STATUS_SOME_MAPPED.

• Addresses an issue that might cause cldflt.sys to reference invalid memory in race conditions.

• Addresses an issue that affects input and output in the Storport driver and might cause your system to stop responding.
