Appleは今年の秋にリリースするiOS 26やmacOS Tahoe 26で、半透明で光沢のある「Liquid Glass」デザインを導入します。
透明感のあるデザンといえば、Microsoftが2007年にリリースした「Windows Vista」の「Aero Glass」を思い出す方も多いかもしれませんが(?)、その懐かしのVistaの起動音が、Windows 11のプレビュービルドで復活していたことがわかりました(The Verge)。
とはいえこの復活は意図的なものではなく、最新のWindows 11 Dev/Beta Channelビルドで、誤ってWindows Vistaの起動音が組み込まれた模様。リリースノートには以下のような項目が既知の不具合として追加されています。
[ADDED] This week’s flight comes with a delightful blast from the past and will play the Windows Vista boot sound instead of the Windows 11 boot sound. We’re working on a fix.
[追加] 今週のフライトでは、懐かしいサウンドが復活し、Windows 11の起動音ではなくWindows Vistaの起動音が再生されます。現在、修正作業を進めています。
