Microsoftは20日、Widnows 7の月例品質ロールアップのプレビュー版KB4457139をリリースしました(Softpedia)。更新プログラムは、次回の月例品質ロールアップで導入される変更を事前に確認するために提供されているIT管理者向けのものとなっています。
プレビュー版にはセキュリティ外の変更のみがふくまれており、次回の月例更新でセキュリティ修正を含んだ更新プログラムが公開される予定です。

KB4457139 (Preview of Monthly Rollup)の変更点
KB4457139には、Windowsアナリティクスに登録されているデバイスの診断パイプラインに関する問題の修正や、多言語UIを持つデバイスがLoadString APIを呼び出すときに発生するメモリリークの問題の修正など、合計で4つの変更点が含まれています。
- Addresses an issue with evaluating the compatibility status of the Windows ecosystem to help ensure application and device compatibility for all updates to Windows.
- Addresses an issue with the diagnostic pipeline for devices enrolled in Windows Analytics when the CommercialID registry key, "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\DataCollection" is present.
- Addresses a memory leak issue that occurs when a device with a multilingual UI calls the LoadString API.
- Addresses an issue in which all Guest Virtual Machines running Unicast NLB fail to respond to NLB requests after the Virtual Machines restart.
なお更新プログラムには、一部のクライアントソフトウェア構成でネットワークインターフェイスコントローラが動作しなくなることがある既知の不具合が掲載されています。現在問題を調査中とのことですが、ワークアラウンドも掲載されていますので、インストールする場合は事前に確認しておくことをおすすめします。
