Microsoftは9月24日(現地時間)、Widnows 7の月例品質ロールアップのプレビュー版KB4516048と、Windows 8.1の月例品質ロールアップのプレビュー版KB4516041を公開しました(Softpedia)。

更新プログラムは、次回の月例品質ロールアップで導入される変更を事前に確認するために提供されているオプション扱いのものとなっています。

Windows UpdateまたはMicrosoft Update Catalogを利用してインストールすることが可能です。

KB4516048 (Preview of Monthly Rollup)

Windows 7 SP1、Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1用の更新プログラムKB4516048では、Toshiba Qosmio AV Centerを開いたり使用したりするときにエラーを引き起こす可能性のある問題が修正されています。

Addresses an issue that may cause an error when opening or using the Toshiba Qosmio AV Center. You may also receive an error in the Event Log related to cryptnet.dll.

更新プログラムには以下の1件の既知の不具合が存在します。

Windows 8.1、Windows Server 2012 R2用の更新プログラムKB4516041では、Local Security Authority Subsystem Service(LSASS)が"0xc0000005"エラーで停止する不具合の修正や、Windows 8.1 RTデバイスにKB4516067をインストールした後にInternet Explorer 11が開かない問題の修正が行われています。
