2週間前Microsoftは、Windows Insider Programに関して大きな変更を行うことを発表しました。これまでのFast、Slow、Release Previewをとりやめ、Dev、Beta、Release Previewチャンネルに置き換えるという内容ですが、本日この変更が有効になったとのことです(Neowin)。

今後数時間でWindowsInsider設定に変更が反映される予告とされています。
なお名前は変更されますが、機能的にはこれまでと特に変わりはありません。Devチャンネルにはいち早く新機能が追加され、特定のリリースに結び付けられた機能のテストや修正はBetaチャンネルで、一般リリース直前のテストはRelease Previewチャンネルで行われます。ユーザーが特に設定を変更する必要はなく、よりわかりやすい名前に変更されたと考えると良さそうです。
