Microsoftは5月2日現地、Windows 11の最新の機能アップデート「Windows 11 Version 24H2」の段階的なロールアウトが最終段階に入り、誰でもダウンロード可能な状態になったことを発表しました。

Windows 11, version 24H2, also known as the Windows 11 2024 Update, is broadly available. We have reached the last phase of the gradual rollout for version 24H2 via Windows Update on Settings.
Windows 11 バージョン 24H2（Windows 11 2024 Update とも呼ばれます）は、広く提供されています。現在、Windows Update の設定画面を通じた段階的な展開の最終段階に達しています。
If you have an eligible Windows 10 or Windows 11 device, you can look for the update by selecting Settings > Windows Update and selecting Check for updates. If your device is ready for the update, you’ll see the option to Download and install Windows 11, version 24H2. Note that some devices temporarily may not show the update to version 24H2 if we detect an incompatibility. You can find information on incompatibility issues and safeguard holds below on this page.
Windows 10 または Windows 11 の対象デバイスをお持ちの場合は、[設定] > [Windows Update] を開き、[更新プログラムのチェック] を選択することで、アップデートを確認できます。お使いのデバイスがアップデートの準備が整っていれば、「Windows 11 バージョン 24H2 をダウンロードしてインストール」というオプションが表示されます。なお、互換性の問題が検出された場合、一時的にバージョン 24H2 のアップデートが表示されないことがあります。互換性の問題や保留措置に関する情報は、このページの下部に記載されています。
IT部門によって管理されていないWindows 11 Version 22H2/23H2デバイスを使用している場合、Windows Update経由でWindows 11 Version 24H2のアップデートを自動的に受け取ることになります。このときデバイスを再起動する時間を選択するか、更新を延期することもできます。
Windows 11 Version 24H2は大規模アップデートで、Copilot+ PCなどの対応デバイスでは多数のAI関連機能が導入されます。
