remはデスクトップ上の全ての情報を記録し振り返ることができるツール。
スクリーンショットを自動的に保存し、過去のデスクトップの状態を確認することができるほか、OCR機能を使ってテキストを検索したりコピーしたりすることもできる。
「検索」では、過去のスクリーンショット一覧をテキストやアプリ名で絞り込むことができる。
「タイムライン」では過去にデスクトップを表示することができる。
以下のような特徴を持つ:
- 効率的なアプローチを採用し、すべてのテキストを認識し、自動的に2秒ごとにスクリーンショットを撮る。
- 過去にさかのぼる(閲覧したものすべてのフルスクリーンスクラバー)。
- 過去にさかのぼってテキストをコピー。
- キーワード検索で閲覧したものすべてを検索(アプリケーションによるフィルタリングも可能)。
- LLMで使用するための最近のコンテキストを簡単に取得。
- Intelビルドあり。
- 外部/複数モニター接続でも動作。

IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED BEFORE
If you are experiencing repeatedly re-asking for permissions, even though you've granted:
- Remove permission for the previous version of rem
- Quit the app
- Try recording again, follow prompts (grant access, relaunch the app)
Once we get automatic updates working, this should be fixed...
