VidCoderは、Windows用のオープンソースのDVD/Blu-rayリッピング、ビデオトランスコードアプリケーション。エンコーディングエンジンとしてHandBrakeを使用している。
マルチスレッドに対応し、MP4/MKVコンテナを扱うこともできる。完全に統合されたエンコーディングパイプライにより、すべてが1つのプロセスで行われるため、巨大な中間テンポラリファイルが不要。AMD VCE、Nvidia NVENC、Intel QuickSyncなどのハードウェアアクセラレーテッドエンコーディングにも対応している。
AAC、MP3、Vorbis、AC3、FLACオーディオエンコーディングおよびAAC/AC3/MP3/DTS/DTS-HDパススルー、ビデオのターゲットビットレート、サイズ、画質、2パスエンコーディング、さまざまなフィルタ、バッチエンコーディング、カスタマイズ可能なピッカー、ソースプレビュー、エンコーディングの一時停止・再開などの特徴を持つ。
