ExplorerPatcherが24H2の壁をまた一つ突破し日本語にも対応

Windows 11 24H2の登場により、一部のカスタマイズツールが機能不全に陥る中、人気ツール「ExplorerPatcher(EP)」が24H2との間にあった互換性の問題をいくつか解決しました。長らく使えなかった機能が復活し、アップグレードブロックも回避可能となっています。

最新版の v22631.5335.68.2 では、Simple Window Switcher(SWS)や角丸ウィンドウの無効化など、24H2で動作しなくなっていた機能が復活しています。タスクバー関連でも、DPI変更後のサイズ不具合や、グローバルホットキーの非動作などの問題が解消されています。

一部ユーザーが直面していた24H2のインストール制限は、EPのコード変更により回避可能となりました。これはep_dwm.exeをep_dwm_svc.exeに改名することがポイントとなっています。

その他、GUIへのドロップダウンインジケーターの追加や、言語名への国名表記の導入、タスクバー設定に「デスクトップ表示ボタンを非表示」するオプションの追加なども行われています。対応言語は日本語を含む20言語以上に拡大されています。

なお今回のアップデートはプレリリース版で、安定性を重視する場合は正式版の公開を待つことをおすすめします。今年後半にリリース予定のWindows 11 25H2に関する新情報は特にありません。
