Microsoftは12月9日(現地時間)、Windows 11のWindows Insider ProgramのCanaryチャンネル向けの最新ビルド「Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 28000.1340」をリリースしました(Windows Blog)。
Canaryチャンネルで公開されるビルドは、将来の機能アップデートで追加される可能性のある、さまざまな新機能が先行して実装されています。プレビューチャンネルの中で最も不安定な可能性があり、提供されるドキュメントも限定的なものとなっています(例えば既知の不具合は掲載されないなど)。
Windows Insider Programの更新オプションでCanaryチャンネルを選択し、Windows 11のプレビュー版を使用しているユーザーは、Windows Updateを利用して最新版に更新することができます。

Build 28000.1340の新機能
Build 28000.1340では、10月の24H2/25H2の非セキュリティプレビューアップデートで導入された一部機能の展開が開始しています。またシステム全体の安定性とユーザー体験の改良が行われています。

- This update includes a small set of general improvements and fixes that improve the overall experience for Insiders running this build on their PCs.
- This update is beginning to enable some more of the new features and improvements originally released with the October non-security preview update for Windows 11, version 24H2 and 25H2.
[Administrator Protection]
- The admin protection feature is temporarily disabled for Insiders in Canary. We appreciate your patience.
[Storage]
- Fixed an issue which could cause some Storage Spaces to become inaccessible or Storage Spaces Direct to fail when creating a storage cluster.
