Default Folder X 6.1.2 addresses problems with Sequoia, improves Quick Search and Finder label support.
What's new in version 6.1.2:
Corrected an issue on Sequoia that could result in various problems, including the failure of Finder-click, items not activating in Save dialogs, and user interface elements showing when they shouldn't.
The handling of Finder labels has been completely revamped. Label colors now show correctly in Default Folder X's menus and Information panel.
Fixed a bug in the Recent Folders and Recent Files menus that could cause errors if you delete a large number of recent items on disk.
Default Folder X would sometimes keep the last previewed file open after using an Open dialog. This has been fixed.
Quick Search puts more weight on how recently you used an item when sorting your search results.
A warning is displayed when Default Folder X encounters a conflict with BetterMouse.

Release Notes
Tower 8.0 for Windows introduces a new "Restack Branch" feature, a new "Sync" action, and several visual enhancements to the user interface.
"Restack Branch" Feature
To get started with the "Stacked Branches" workflow, simply click on the corresponding option in the "Workflow" icon found in the toolbar.
When this workflow is enabled, each time the parent branch is updated, a new "restack" icon will appear next to every child branch in the sidebar. Simply right-click on the branch to access the context menu and select the appropriate action!
The yellow banner in the branch's history view will also notify you if the branch needs restacking.
New "Sync" action
The "Sync" button executes a "pull" operation, and if that is successful, it proceeds with a "push."
This feature is helpful for syncing a local branch with the latest changes from a remote repository and quickly pushing any local commits back to that remote repository.
Visual Improvements
The accent color within the app is now aligned with Windows, and we've incorporated "Mica material" as a semi-transparent, gently blurred background. Additionally, we've moved the main menu of the top bar to the right and added support for window docking.
The names of the repository and branch are now also visible in the taskbar!
