This is the third development build after the Windows Package Manager 1.8 build for Windows 10(1809+) and Windows 11.
This build will be released to Windows Insider Dev builds and Windows Package Manager Insiders.

Experimental features are enabled in this release. Run winget features to see which experimental features are enabled or disabled. Add the following to your settings (winget settings) file to enable the experimental features.

This is the first stable release of Windows Package Manager 1.8 for Windows 10 (1809+), and Windows 11.

Experimental features have been disabled in this release.

WinGet v1.8 will be the last stable version of WinGet with experimental features disabled. Starting in WinGet v1.9, stable releases will include the ability to enable experimental features unless blocked by Group Policy Objec

• Fixed a bug that was causing system prompts to be dropped for Anthropic models.

Like its smaller and more stable cousin, this Preview channel servicing update fixes a handful of issues, including that annoying hyperlink bug. This update is currently rolling out via the store to everyone.

We fixed a rare bug that made the app crash when trashing posts. One person’s trash is another person’s… still trash, we guess.
We also fixed an issue with the navigation bar in the Post Visibility picker. While we were at it, we updated the editor’s Post Settings screen to use the new navigation bar style. Nice.
